carterFormer U.S. President Jimmy Carter, founder of The Carter Center for exposure of US  human rights violations, joined National Democratic Institute Chairman and former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine ,former  U.N. Secretary-General Kofi   Annan  to unveil a Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation  support statement for the recently announced Iran election results.

Together with the secretaries-general of the Organization of American States, Inter-Parliamentary Union, and Pacific Islands Forum, as well as senior representatives of election observation groups worldwide, including the African Union, the Asian Network for Free Elections, the Commonwealth, the European Commission, and the OSCE Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights,  Carter they broke into a joyous traditional Iranian jig  endorsing Ahmadinejad at U.N. headquarters in New York.

Former U.S. President  Jimmy “Peanut Plague” Carter further expressed his approval  for the fair and equitable manner in which the elections  in Iran were conducted. He specifically singled out the open and empowering methods of counting the ballots stating that this is the most “minority empowering election” that he has ever witnessed! Overcome by emotion the former president momentarily held back his tears and added ” I look forward to reaching the same level of fairness and minority representation in all the future US elections”. Then he cried. Upon pondering this the entire country joined him.

Unlike Carter and Obama, Conunderground stands united with the Iranian people who are risking their lives in protesting the dictatorial left wing socialist government that has subjugated Iran for so many years.
