While the world is both up in arms about the brutal crackdown perpetrated by the fascist Iranian government against its own people and bubbling with hope about he future of that nation, Obama and the left are deafeningly and unexplainably silent. Perhaps when I say that its “unexplainable” I am being optimistic, one very reasonable explanation is that the left is simply silent out of professional sympathy. After all how much different is the Iranian’s mullah’s agenda than that prescribed by Saul Alinsky and so faithfully followed by Obamba? That’s a subject for another post. For now lets just note for the record that as Iran is undergoing a most radical reversal of course, Obama is AWOL! Lets also note , with a good deal of disgust… Actually I am not sure that disgust is what I feel. I actually have mixed emotions about this. Something akin to what I’d feel if Ayres drove off a cliff in my brand new Maserati- if I had one. Anyway I am referring to the fact that the entire mighty left wing blogo-sphere has been reduced to essentially one really long screech of “Obama ain’t so bad” .
While some of us point out that a word of encouragement from Obama to the Iranian population would probably go a long way, the leftist blogger’s response is “Obama ain’t so bad” and of course the de rigueur leftist insults
While some of us point out that its really idiotic of Obama to state or even imply that if the US shows support for them, the demonstrators would suddenly become wild supporters of Ahmadinejad, the left wing blogger’s response is “Obama ain’t so bad” and then add “what do you want air strikes”?
While some of us point out that Obama should immediately call on the UN Human Rights Council to convene a special session to condemn the human rights violations perpetrated by the socialist Iranian government against their own people, the left wing blogger’s response is “Obama ain’t so bad” and add something about Oabama eating ice cream.
As he always does, Obamba is about to throw his supporters under a bus again. Today Obama will come out and read the Teleprompter and tell us that he now supports Iran’s protesters and blah blah blah
What will the leftist bloggers squeal as the Obamba bus rolls over their carcasses? “Thanks you sir may I have another!”
