We should address the question of the logistics behind the Swine Flu vaccines.
So far every single program proposed or passed by the Obama administration has been focused on benefiting certain segments of the US population.
Because minorities, mostly blacks but Hispanics as well, usually drive older cars the cash for clunkers program was tailored specifically to benefit them.
The allocation of the funds geared to help homeowners facing foreclosure was also disproportionally allocated to minority communities, with the funds going 28% to blacks and 21% to Hispanics for a total of 49%
To put into perspective how skewed these numbers are consider that only about 11% of the nation wide household are owned by Hispanics and blacks own about 9%.
NeighborWorks America, the administrator of the Congressionally authorized National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling (NFMC) program, announced that of the more than 363,000 homeowners who received foreclosure prevention counseling as a result of NFMC funding through March 31, 2009, 28 percent were African American homeowners, more than twice their representation in the overall public, and more than three times their representation of total homeowners. In all, 53 percent of NFMC Program clients were minority homeowners, or more than twice the overall percent of minority homeowners. (source).
Studies of federal data show that the amount of funds going to cover student loan default rates of minority black students are 500% higher than funds going to whites

With such a track record why would you have any confidence that the flu shots will be equitably distributed to you or to your child?
About two weeks ago Reuters reported that the US Government is slashing by more than 60% the number of vaccines that will be available . The new numbers that are talked about are 45 million doses to made available to the US, down from an initial plan of providing 120 million doses
The current plan still calls for a two shot treatment thus further reducing the number of Americans that can be fully inoculated to 22.5 million people representing just under 7% of the American population.
Will politicians and their their families go to the end of the line or will they be the first to get the vaccines? How about ACORN and assorted other community organizers?
How the vaccines will be distributed is really not clear but if anyone will give you even odds that the distribution will be fair and equitable bet the house! Maybe Obama will create some sort of anti flu “inahaltor”
