If this wasn’t so serious it would be down right comedic.

Heatlth organizations form the UK to the Middle East are scambling to find ways to prevent the spread of Mexican wSwine Flu.
Really? So when we had a handful of cases it was considered  jingoistic and irresponsible and even racist to suggest closing the borders but now suddenly, when every state in the union is infected with tens of thousands  and many with hundreds of thousands of cases  preventing the spreading of the Swine Flu is of paramount importance. Is this some sort of sick joke? Yeah pun intended.

Some of the most radical and by far most dangerous proposals come from our very own Government.

A federal advisory panel recommended  the FDA should move ahead to approve or license the new H1N1 vaccine without waiting to receive data from clinical trials to test its safety and efficacy.

The very same government who refused to close the border citing among other feeble and idiotic excuses, the potentially averse economic impact on our trading partners, thinks its just peachy to use its citizens as guinea pigs to see if flu vaccines work or not and if they are safe or not.

On the other hand you shouldn’t be all that alarmed becasue you probably won’t get the vaccine anyway.  The Government purchased raw materials to manufacture 195 million doses of swine flu vaccine, and expect to make up to 100 million doses available in October.

First of all if the Government  claims 100 million vaccines can be made available rest assured that it will be at most one third of that. Secon even  if they’ll be able to make 100 million units there are over 320 million people in the country and we are told that we each ned two shots.

So I suppose that we  have as much of a chance of being  prepared for the  Swine  Pandemic as we are of Obama reducing the deficit by $2 Trillion as he said that he’ll do in his televised charrade about the Health Care.
