OK fine. Here then is the question. As far as I can tell Obma has not as yet accomplished any single major policy change, on the contrary it can be argued he actually lost many of the advances made by George W Bush. Can anyone tell us how exactly has Obama’s diplomacy differed form that of George W Bush . Let me rephrase that, please tell me how Obama has improved US diplomacy, the failures we know.

well good comeback, but the economy was pretty much dead when Obama took office. The wall street crash, the bank crash occurred during the election. Please, for goodness sakes, explain how Obama is responsible for that.

I think that what sunk John McCain more than anything was his liberalism. I only voted for him becasue it was the only way to vote for Palin. The conservative wing of the party wasn’t exactly motivated to go out and vote for him. You can find a column or two I wrote on McCain on this site and I wrote elsewhere under a nom de plume, but they all had the same gist.
Well if we consider Obam to be the symbol of all the anti free market manipulations that brought down the economy than sure the economy was brought down by Obama or more accurately it was brought down by the same policies that Obama supports implemented by his supporters.
A communication error always seems to occur when people use words like “liberalism” which is individually defined. If your honest, you have to admit, unless you living on another planet, that the economy sank while Bush was potus not Obama.
I’m all for holding him responsible for what he does as potus, but for me it is not really talking straight to use a buzz word and make him responsible when he wasn’t even in office. That’s not the American fair way. We are a people who are all about personal responsibility, not responsibility for something someone else does. That really is not fair.
