Fishkill Rocked the Tea Party

From the mouth of babes, "keep your hands my piggy bank"

Fishkill’s tea party rivaled that of much larger cities, with over 4000 in attendance it certainly came close to NYC ! Hudson Valley came out in force to show the world that they are proud and worthy heirs to the 233 year old tradition established in the 1776 Tea Rebellion ( I really wish I could find more on that if anyone has info please send it because I think that it deserves to be shared).

Their party shone bright not just in numbers but I have to admit that watching the videos and reading some of the comments I felt like I did at the first NYC tea party, before the high fluting politicians and media showed up. Fishkill seemed to have held on to that grassroots feel that so inspired our country after the first wave of Tea Parties.

There is nothing more powerful then Americans coming together for a cause you can even feel it just by watching the videos. I tell you I can’t wait until they have the next one I would love to attend!
