I’ve lived through this and I can tell you that obtaining food becomes your second full time job. You go to work or school and afterwards you do all possible to try to get food…any kind of food. This turns into a full time job seven days a week any time of the day or night. if you hear that there might be food at a store somewhere in the city you get up in the middle of the night any night of the week and line up to get try to get it. You leave from work in the middle of the day to get it. It’s as simple as that.
